Taylor Swift gave £13,000 (over $20,000) of her own dosh to a kids charity on Friday night (Nov 20).
The 19-year-old was a guest on the UK’s charity telethon Children In Need and made her generous offer after performing live in the studio.
T-Swift told the host of the show: “I'm so happy to be here. I'd love to make a donation tonight.
“My lucky number is 13 so I would like to donate £13,000 to Children In Need. Thank you for having me, I really appreciate it.”
The move has only seen the corkscrew-curled crooner’s popularity soar.
The following day, she was mobbed as she stepped out in London’s West End.
An onlooker said: “Taylor seemed a little taken aback but smiled and signed autographs for everyone there.”
