The country cutie has revealed in an interview with US InStyle that all she wants is a guy who can give her true love.
She said: “There are no rules when it comes to love. I just try to let love surprise me because you never know who you're going to fall in love with.
“You never know who's going to come into your life – and for me, when I picture the person I want to end up with, I don't think about what their career is, or what they look like. I picture the feeling I get when I'm with them."
The talented songstress, who’s never been shy about sharing her love woes in her chart-topping songs, has said she is "hopeful" about finding the love of her life, which is why her songs always include a happy ending.
''I’m really a daydreamer and a hopeful person. When it comes to 'happily ever after,' I always have a tendency to write a happy ending to my songs.
“That's probably wishful thinking on my part."
And if you really want to know the key to the 'Fearless' singer's heart, that would be making her happy!
"I'm most scared by the thought of prolonged, perpetual unhappiness, and of unfulfilment. I have this really high priority on happiness and finding something to be happy about.
"It's not that I live in a delusional fantasy where I'm just smiling every day. I definitely feel pain, but there is also this need to be grateful for what I've been given."
