The singer addressed the rumours during interviews with two different Aussie radio stations (props to the fearless DJs who strayed well off suitable-topics-to-discuss terrain.)
During a telephone interview with Nova in Brisbane on Wednesday (September 2), the DJ asked: “Obviously we have to talk about the tiny penis rumours,” to which a slightly miffed-sounding Gaga responded: “My little vagina is very offended. I’m not offended, my vagina is offended.”
In a later interview with the Matt And Jo Radio Show in Melbourne, the gang asked straight out whether the singer was a hermaphrodite.
By now getting bored of the topic, LG replied: “You know what, it’s honestly too low brow for me to even discuss.”
Undeterred, the team then asked: “Does that therefore clarify that you never posted anything on Twitter or your blog acknowledging this situation there?”
Gaga, who’s just announced her first headlining Australia tour in 2010, replied: “I’ve made fun of it before, but to even talk about it is just ridiculous. I’m an accomplished musician and I’d much rather talk about my fans and my music than a silly rumour.”
So there you have it. Case closed. We think.
