Quirky pop princess Lady Gaga has sensationally announced that she’s single again!
The singer, who has been dating New York bartender Luc Carl on and off for the past few years, revealed the news in an interview on the BBC’s Graham Norton Show.
Asked whether she had a boyfriend Gaga replied “No, no boyfriend. I’m miserably pathetic in my wedding dress,” jokingly referring to her avant garde outfit.
The ‘Judas’ singer further elaborated on her single status, saying “I haven’t been on any dates recently, I’m working so hard and I just finished my record.”
“I don’t know, I get really bored very quickly with men.”
And while Luc seems to have made a swift exit from the Gaga family fold, it appears the singer could instead be welcoming a very famous face into the void – Madonna!
According to the Boston Globe, celebrity genealogist Chris Child has announced that the two pop stars are related!
“They are ninth cousins once removed,’’ says Child, who claims to have traced their common ancestry to a French immigrant farming couple who arrived in Quebec in the 1600s.
Looks like the two divas share more than just a love of big pop hooks and wacky outfits after all!
