She’s blatantly slammed Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, chronicled her temporary split from hubby Carey Hart, and even documented her battle with drugs; it’s safe to say that P!nk isn’t afraid of stirring up the odd bit of controversy through her music videos, and her fans love her for it.

But even the fearless singer is aware that her new video for ‘F****** Perfect,’ is going to "ruffle some feathers", and has released a statement via her official site warning, or at least informing, viewers of the content of the video and her intentions behind the shocking images.

The clip, which the singer unveiled via Facebook today, tells the story of a misfit girl who is bullied and steals from a shop before channelling her anger into becoming a successful artist.

“I’m sure my newest video for ‘F—in’ Perfect’ will be much like some of my other videos, which basically means I expect it will ruffle some feathers,” the 31-year-old singer wrote on her official site.

"It's a problem, and it's something we should talk about. We can choose to ignore the problem, and therefore ignore this video, but that won't make it go away," she continued.

“I don’t support or encourage suicide or cutting. I support the kids out there that feel so desperate/numb/powerless, that feel unseen and unheard, and can’t see another way.. I want them to know I’m aware. I have been there. I see them. Sometimes that’s all it takes,” the pregnant pop-singer continued.

“That promotes awareness and change, or at least some discussion. That is my intention. You can't move mountains by whispering at them."

‘F***** Perfect’ is the second release form her ‘Greatest Hits...So Far!!!’ album. Read P!nk’s full statement HERE
