This morning, reports flooded the net that P!nk had suffered a setback in Germany when her musician’s tour bus caught fire, but rest assured: not only was no one hurt, the songstress herself has confirmed that the reports are porkys!
Reports from several media outlets say the hit-maker, who is currently touring Europe with her Funhouse Summer Carnival show, was en-route from Munich to Berlin with her entourage on Monday morning when a vehicle caught fire.
Details even emerged about what caused the blaze – apparently there was a faulty particle filter in the exhaust system that caused it to ignite. The bus driver then pulled over and put out flames with a fire extinguisher before calling for help.
The story, which was reported by Eonline.com sighted ‘a published report quoting German officials’ but according to P!nk, the blaze didn’t happen!
The singer denying the incident via Twitter, writing:
My tour bus did NOT catch on fire- that story is so false its almost entertaining.
Sounds like a simple case of Chinese whispers and the almighty power of the internet!
