Yep, front woman Gwen Stefani has confirmed that the 90s punk-rockers are all set to drop their brand spankin’ new album this year.
Revealing the super exciting news in a chat with ‘KIIS-FM’s Ryan Seacrest, the blonde songstress, who’s stormed the charts with two solo albums since the band went on hiatus, revealed,
“We’ve been going for a while trying to make this record and it’s been super challenging but really fun.
“We’re trying to enjoy the moment of writing and … it’s just a really fun process and I think it’s going to be out this year.
"There's a lot of upbeat songs. It's generally a pretty happy record."
And after a mighty long time coming - we’re relieved to hear the sexy mum-of-two is thrilled with the result.
“It’s a really good record,” she added. “I really love this record.”
