The singer has been on the receiving end of some super-harsh Aussie criticism since the opening night of her ‘Circus’ tour in Perth last week and has been left feeling “extremely upset” as a result.
As we reported earlier this week, various critics have blasted her lip-synching and some media outlets reported fans stormed out of her first show in disgust.
But the presence of Sean Preston and Jayden James in the audience at the Rod Laver Arena seemed to give the singer a much-needed confidence boost.
The Melbourne show went without a hitch and we can confidently say the audience didn’t stream out in droves.
In fact the fans were loving it, including the tiny tots related to Britney - who were seated in $1500 VIP seats surrounded by burly bouncers.
With the storm around Brit’s Aussie concerts whipping around the world and making global news, the ‘3’ songstress came out and made her own comment yesterday (November 11).
She said: "I hear there is a lot of controversy in the media about my show. Some reporters have said they love it and some don't.
“I came to Australia for my fans."
Hear, hear.
