2011 looks sure to be a huge year for music comebacks!
And while we’re excited for the likes of Britney Spears and Beyoncé to drop their new album – there’s one that’s set to be even bigger than the rest…
Yep, after four years out, the Foo Fighters have revealed their exciting follow-up to ‘Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace’ is finally finished!
And by the sounds of it, the new record has definitely been worth the wait…
Frontman Dave Grohl told Radio 1 of their new release, in stores later this year,
"There's 11 songs and front to back there's not one sleepy ballad.
"The process was so simple. It was really in my garage. You could put a mini van in there and that's it.
"The fact that we did it without any computers it was just really simple. It just sounds massive. It's different to any other Foo Fighters album because it just sounds big. It was really inspiring."
And now the superstars just have the tough job of deciding which of their new tracks to drop first.
“I don't even know what the single is going to be," added Dave. "It's hard to choose because it sounds like there's more than one."
