In the past two years, Rihanna’s chameleon hair colour and raunchy outfits have earned her just as many column inches as her chart-smashing hits.
Then she went and pushed her bad girl image to places we never thought possible with her new vid ‘We Found Love’ – but now, RiRi has revealed that she’s scaling back her sexy persona to focus more on the music!
In an interview with Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, the Barbados-born starlet revealed she’s doing away with headline-grabbing outfits and donning a more natural look so she doesn’t become a “gimmick”.
“I kinda just wanted to scale right back instead of having a look,” she said, according to Digitalspy.
“I didn’t want to make it such a big deal about what hair colour or what cut (I have).”
The sexy starlet, whose entourage recently revealed to digitalspy.com that she spends more than $US21,000 per week to have her ever-evolving tresses looking picture perfect, added,
“I just wanted to go right back to something simple and something flexible, something a little more natural. It’s more about the music.
"I don’t want to become a gimmick – ever. Well, I ran out of (hair) colours, so that’s why I decided to go back to my natural color.”
“I’m just really having fun with the music and the style is a lot more accessible. It’s more lifestyle, it’s not so much a look or a costume, which I really enjoy.”
