‘The Beatles: A Day In The Life’ will feature live concerts, docos and rare music videos and is hosted by Aussie music maestro, Molly Meldrum - the fella who exclusively broke the news of the boys’ split in the ‘70s.
Exclusive to Vh1 is ’Beatles: The Journey’ – a film that charts the lads’ success using rare archive footage, interviews and news reels, from the early days to the untimely deaths of George Harrison and John Lennon.
The channel will also premier ‘Gimme Some Truth: The Making of John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’ Album’, plus rarely seen music clips such as ’The Ed Sullivan Show’ performance of ’I Saw Her Standing There’.
The Vh1 Beatles marathon is in celebration of the release of the re-mastered Beatles back catalogue and the launch of ’The Beatles: Rock Band’ computer game on September 9.
