We’ve had Em’ pen a thinly veiled attack on Mar-i (with ‘Bagpipes From Baghdad’), and Mar-i pen a thinly veiled attack on ‘Em (with ‘Obsessed’).
Now Em has responded with a new musical diss, called ‘The Warning’, in which he sings about his and Mimi’s night of passion, slates her for dressing up as him in her ‘Obsessed’ video clip, and brands her a “liar” for denying they ever had a fling.
Unsurprisingly, Mimi’s gallant hubby Nick Cannon is not having any of it. The loyal love-toy took to his Twitter to attack Eminem with… self-help quotes.
Here’s a small selection:
"Victorious warriors win first then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win."
"When there are no enemies within, the enemies outside can not hurt you!"
"Those who feed into negativity must examine there (sic) purpose on this earth."
"I will permit no man to narrow or degrade my soul by making me hate him."
And: "Never take your own revenge, but rather give place unto the wrath. For it is written vengeance is mine, I will repay… PREACH!"
Er, whoa…. We can kind of see what you’re trying to do there Nick, but we’re not sure Em’s gonna be shaking in his Hi-Tops.
