Aussie Artist Evermore played a surprise set at Wynyard Park where they showed of their new sounds and showing off their much edgier look to a crowd of pleasantly surprised onlookers.
The event was hosted by Vodafone in the lead-up to the highly anticipated Vodafone MTV Australia Awards 2009last Friday.
The band unequivocally rocked the early morning glaze out of most commuters inspiring even a suited up man to get on stage and show off his best moves.
Evermore played three tracks including the single 'Hey Boys and Girls' from their fresh album ‘Truth of the World: Welcome to the Show’.
The album is available to download from Vodafone’s MusicStation, Australia’s first unlimited mobile music subscription service with unlimited access to a catalogue of over one million tracks, for a flat fee of $2.75 per week.
This is the latest effort by Vodafone to show their commitment to the local music scene. In addition to surprise gigs, Vodafone initiatives such as Fresh clips on MTV (where they expose new videos to the masses with the help of Ruby Rose) and their involvement in the Vodafone MTV Australia Awards 2009, this hip telco also presented the award for Best Aussie Act at last Friday’s event.
