Empire Of The Sun – missing members or not – are up for an impressive six awards, including Best Group, Album Of The Year and Single Of The Year - both for ’Walking On A Dream’.
Next in line is electro-popstrel Ladyhawke with five nommos to her name. The Kiwi cutie is up for Best Female Artist and Best Pop Release for her self-titled debut album.
Meanwhile, Melbourne quartet The Temper Trap, legendary rockers AC/DC and urban heroes Hilltop Hoods have all bagged four nods each.
Feisty femmes Kate Miller-Heidke, Sarah Blasko and Lisa Mitchell are all up for a trio of trophies.
The ARIA Awards take place on November 26 at Sydney’s Acer Arena, where comeback king Robbie Williams will perform for the first time since taking his infamous break from the music scene.
