have announced they’re working on a brand new album!
Possibly inspired by their loyal fan base Down Under, the fierce fivesome, who released their current record ‘Wasting Light’ in April, have announced plans to hit the recording studio as early as next year.
"We're not finished yet. There are still more shows to play, more songs to write, more albums to record, for years to come,” frontman Dave Grohl assured fans on the band’s official blog.
"I mean if you would have told me 17 years ago that in 2012 I would be writing songs for our eighth studio album... well."
The news comes just days after the US superstars thrilled Kiwi fans by filming the official video for their new single ‘These Days’ live during their gig in Auckland.
50,000 rock lovers hit Western Springs Stadium, where the Foos performed the final show of their mind-blowing world tour.
