Separating the wheat from the chaff from several conflicting reports, the story seems to go that an altercation occurred last Saturday night (December 12) when Linds and a few buddies reportedly went to a bar and returned after curfew. Then, at 1.03 AM, according to TMZ, the police received a call for ‘hand to hand’ battery.
Cops came to the Betty Ford Clinic shortly after receiving the call, and after interviewing the staffer and Lindsay, told TMZ the staffer "desired prosecution."
What happened in those few hours is anyone’s guess, with conflicting stories coming from both sides. Lindsay maintained that the staff member put her hands on her, with the starlet responding, "Take your hands off me," and pushing the woman back.
Meanwhile, the staffer has a very different version of events, saying that Lindsay had been drinking and hurt her so badly, she's now on workers' comp.
Staffer Dawn Holland told TMZ that after Linds was caught, she was called to do a breathalyzer. However, the starlet refused, pushed her and went to call 911. The staffer also called 911, and this is when Lindsay ripped the phone out of her hand, causing a severe sprain! Holland also added that she could smell alcohol on Lindsay’s breath, and that she “did not touch the woman."
Now, Papa Lohan has weighed in on the event, telling radaronline, “this woman has had it out for her from the beginning and she’s looking for any reason to stop Lindsay from getting out [of Betty Ford].”
The incident could have serious consequences for the ‘Mean Girls’ actress; if convicted of criminal battery, it could mean she goes back to jail for 180 days because she’s still on probation.
