Justin Bieber's got megastar’s including Katy Perry and Rihanna gushing over him - and now Guy Sebastian has been struck by the uber contagious Bieber fever too!
But, not only does the Aussie Idol appreciate the 16-year-old's talents – he’s also experienced just how popular JB is for himself!
The singer, who recently starred as a judge on talent contest ‘X-Factor,’ told MTV,
“Justin’s a great performer and a real cool singer and because I gave some big-ups [on X-Factor] there were all these Justin Bieber fans writing to me on Facebook, saying, ‘Oh thank you for saying what you did about Justin.’ I had literally hundreds of messages.
“I got a taste of just how popular that kid is!”
Meanwhile, the Adelaide-born star, who’s double disc retrospective album ‘Twenty Ten’ dropped this week, has also spoken out about being snubbed at this year’s ‘ARIA Awards.’
Despite being nominated for an impressive SIX gongs earlier this month, the hitmaker left the bash empty-handed.
“If I’d won an ARIA, I’d have been happy, it would have been great, it’s great to be acknowledged, but it’s not why I do music,” he said.
“I don’t really care about earning my stripes, I care about writing songs for the public and for my fans and for myself.”
