With ‘Eclipse’ smashing box office records across the globe – the ‘Twilight’ cast can just sit back and put their feet up…

As Twi-hards race out to see the latest instalment of the vampire saga in cinemas everywhere – MTV can reveal what the cast are really up to before ‘Breaking Dawn’ kicks off.
Heading back to work immediately after the Los Angeles premiere of ‘Eclipse,’ was Robert Pattinson.
The British hunk even ditched the after-party to film scenes for his newest release ‘Water For Elephants.’
R-Patz will star alongside Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz in the new film, which sees him play a college dropout who becomes an animal caretaker for a travelling circus in the 1930s.
And according to movie insiders, the 24-year-old could even bag an Oscar for his new role.
A source told Hollywood life, "This movie is going to be amazing, and you're going to see Rob in a completely different way, a good way. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he were to receive an Oscar nod for this role!"
Meanwhile his on and off screen love interest Kristen Stewart will be busy with a new project too. The sexy brunette will appear in ‘On The Road’ alongside movie star Garret Hedlund.
And it sounds like Rob could have some competition. Speaking about her new co-star, K-Stew told MTV,
"I've met him a bunch of times and hung out with him twice. He's a great guy," she said. "He's written crazy stuff for it. He's so in character right now. He's driving to Montreal [for filming]. He's awesome. I'm really excited."
Meanwhile Taylor Lautner gave himself just three days off after the ‘Eclipse’ premiere.
The werewolf hunk is now in Pittsburgh filming ‘Abduction’ alongside Sigourney Weaver and Lily Collins.
Speaking about his new film, he told MTV, "It's a very real action-thriller.
"[It has a] great story, great cast.”
And it’s not just the big three who are busy with new projects.
Ashley Greene will star in ‘Apparition’ alongside Sebastian Stan and Tom Felton , as well as ‘Warrior’ opposite her ‘Twilight’ co-star Kellan Lutz.
And the muscly star, who plays Emmet Cullen will also appear in ‘Immortals’ opposite Samuel L Jackson, Mickey Rourke and Isabel Lucas.
