Justin Bieber is no ‘Baby!’
The pop pin up, who’ll turn 18 on March 1, insists he’s ready to become a man!
“People need to know I'm not a kid anymore," he told V Magazine.
Although that doesn’t mean he’s all grown up either…
Just like fellow teen superstar before him, Britney Spears, who famously sang ‘I’m Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman,’ Biebs is stuck somewhere in the middle!
“I'm still learning,” he admitted. “I'm going to grow up how I grow up.”
And from the sounds of it, that means no bad boy behaviour like falling out of nightclubs drunk or cheating on Selena Gomez!
“I don't want to start singing about things like sex, drugs and swearing," he said.
“I'm into love, and maybe I'll get more into making love when I'm older. But I want to be someone who is respected by everybody.”
And the singer says he’s far more interested in focusing on his career than soaking up the temptations of fame.
“My goal at the end of the day - right now - I want to be successful and be great at what I do. But eventually, I want to become the best at what I do. I want to be the best. In the world. I want to be better than anybody that's ever done it."
