According to the Daily Telegraph, the hip-hop superstar was so impressed after he listened to the lads’ debut album ’Walking On A Dream’, he jetted them over to the States to perform on his eagerly awaited new album, ’Blueprint 3’.
Singer Luke Steele’s dreamy pipes will feature on the album’s opening track, ’What We Talkin About’.
The lads are in good company, too, joining an A-list cast of collaborators including Rihanna, Kanye West and MGMT. Something tells us this might lead to huge Stateside success for the colourful duo.
FYI, Mr -Z was first alerted to the band’s brilliance after he heard their track ’Standing On The Shore’ feature on an episode of his fave TV show, ’Entourage’.
Nice.
What do you think: are there any other home-grown stars Jay-Z should give a leg-up to? Which new Aussie acts do you think have what it takes to break the States?
