The boys, Luke Steele – and the missing in action Nick Littlemore – must be hoping it’s a sign of things to come for the main awards later this month.
The Producer of the Year gong was awarded to Empire Of The Sun and Donnie Sloan with Peter Mayes for the album ’Walking On A Dream’ .
The intergalactic artwork from the alb- as conceived by Aaron Hayward and David Homer of agency, Debaser - was also recognized and took home the award for Best Cover Art.
Meanwhile their ’Walking On A Dream Video’ clip won Best Video for its maker Josh Logue of multi award winning production house Mathematics.
The famous vid shows the theatrical duo walking the hazy streets of Shanghai.

The Artisan awards are a prelude to the main ARIA Awards which takes place at Sydney’s Acer Arena on November 26.
