Hitting the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in Los Angeles, celebs donned their finest frocks for the annual bash, which honours the crème de la crème of Latino talent in TV, movies and music.
And leading the way was tween Queen Demi Lovato, who ticked all the style boxes in a flattering flesh-coloured Lucia Hohan gown.
But it wasn’t just her outfit that wowed fans…
The former wildchild, who performed on the night alongside party-lover Pitbull, was all smiles after beating her BFF Selena Gomez to bag the ‘Favourite TV Actress’ gong for her role in ‘Sonny With a Chance.’
“YAYYYY!!!! I can't believe it!!! Thank you guys so much!!!!! #ALMAwards,” she gushed afterwards on Twitter.
Meanwhile, fellow actress Jessica Alba made a triumphant return to the red carpet for the first time since giving birth to her second daughter Haven Garner last month.
Showing off her enviable figure in a strapless grey Michael Kors number, the newly svelte mum, who scooped the prize for ‘Best Actress’ for her role in ‘Machete,’ displayed the results of her new fitness regime.
“I’m going light, stationary bike and elliptical,” she announced last month on Twitter.
And matching her red frock to the carpet was pint-sized beauty Eva Longoria, who joined comedian George Lopez for hosting duties on the night.
Supported by her two co-stars, Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross, the lady in red looked anything but ‘Desperate!’
