Whitney Houston could change the set list for her comeback in show in Sydney after her “disappointing” gig in Brisbane.

The music legend, who’s touring Oz for the first time in 22 years, was slammed by fans after appearing breathless and exhausted during her opening night.

The multi-award winning singer, who exited the stage after half a dozen songs and left her brother Gary Houston to sing, appeared disoriented and failed to properly name some of her backing band as she introduced them to the audience.

Following the show, concert-goers in Brisbane labelled the 46-year-old's show "embarrassing", "terrible", "poor", "rambling" and "hopeless".

One said that ‘The Bodyguard’ star was heckled by members of the audience who said they felt "cheated" by her performance, whilst others moaned they wanted their money back.

But her ‘Nothing But Love’ tour promoter Andrew McManus defended the songstress, telling The Herald Sun, "I thought Australians would embrace Whitney Houston for the fact she's out there giving it a red hot go, warts and all."
