Flo Rida’s latest album the ‘Wild Ones’ has just dropped here in Australia - but it’s his collaboration with local songstress Sia that he’s most excited about!
In an interview with the Sunday Telegraph, Flo reveals that when he first met the ‘Taken For Granted’ singer to record the album’s self-titled track, he was blown away by her talent.
“When I walked into the studio and I heard her voice, it was so amazing,” he told the Sunday Telegraph.
“I fell down to the floor. I knew this song would be a massive hit so definitely much love to Sia – she’s wonderful.”
However, the shy Aussie beauty chose not to appear in the video clip, and Flo says that her reluctance to be in the lime light is actually her biggest appeal!
“That is what makes her so special,” he added. “She loves doing things her way and her way has helped me to become No.1, so to each his own.”
Meanwhile, the hip hop star has also collaborated with Lil Wayne, LMFAO’s Redfoo and Jennifer Lopez on his new release, and the 32-year-old star says he is proud of each song on it.
“Every track on the album is just phenomenal...The rest of the album is crazy so I’m definitely loving it and I’m pretty sure the fans are going to love it and enjoy it too," the 'Low' artist revealed.
Right now the chart topper is preparing for an international tour, but says that Australia is definitely on his schedule!
"I'm getting ready to go on tour. I'll be all over the world. I will be in Australia some time this year, most definitely," he added.
