They have the biggest track in Australia right now, and this week, MTV Australia was lucky enough to catch up with Guy Sebastian and US hip hop star Lupe Fiasco to get the goss on their exclusive ‘X Factor’ performance!
The guys will be hitting the stage tonight to perform their smash hit single ‘Battle Scars’ – and from what they told us, this will be one performance you don’t want to miss.
“It will be awesome,” said Lupe.
“We’ve got a smashed up car and stuff like in the clip,” continued Guy.
“We’ve got some massive screens with photos from the clip.
“We’re basically re-doing the clip!” he joked.
Last night the final 12 contestants performed live for the first time, and tonight the first act will be eliminated from the show.
Guy, who’s mentoring the ‘Over 25’ category, says he’s been blown away by the level of talent this year.
“It’s great, it’s really diverse, I feel like we’ve never had such a strong bunch of talent,” Guy revealed.
“And you know what it’s like at the start of all these shows, it’s like ‘oh it’s the best we’ve ever had.’ But legitimately, this is definitely the strongest top 12 we’ve ever had!”
