Unless you’ve recently been treated to a lobotomy, chances are you’ve heard the uproar surrounding Kristin Cavallari’s permanent posting on Season Six of ‘The Hills’ .
Word on the street is that Spencer and Heidi Pratt (formally Montag) have welcomed Kristen with open fake-tanned arms, but we’re starting to wonder if a forty-four inch wide screen will be big enough for three divas on one show.
Heidi told MTV News that she loved Kristen because, “we (Speidi) wouldn't be together if it weren't for Kristin. She introduced us.”
Kristin talked with EW about introducing the couple. "It's so funny," she said. "I guess it was four years ago. I was dating Brody [Jenner] and Spencer was Brody's best friend. I had known Heidi when she was friends with Lauren when we were still filming 'Laguna Beach.' Heidi was like, 'Hook me up with someone. I wanna meet a guy.' And Brody and I were kinda like, 'Well, maybe Spencer? We'll see what happens.' So we all went on a double date, and they just hit it off right away and now they're married."
Meanwhile, Spencer had plenty of nice things to say about LC’s onetime mortal enemy.
"There wouldn't be a 'Hills' if there wasn't a Kristin Cavallari, because the 'Laguna Beach' brand wouldn't have had the power," Spencer said. "We still love Lauren, we'd love to have you come back on the show. But hey, you were the calm, quiet girl trying to steal Kristin's boyfriend, the cool girl at the high school. So shout-out to the cool girl joining 'The Hills'!"
Kirsten is already busy stirring up divine drama, claiming she will definitely outshine our little style-angel LC; and she wasted no time in making sure everyone knows it, by catching (crash tackling?) the bouquet at Speidi’s wedding. Maybe it’s a sign symbolising Kirsten’s future with ‘The Hills’? Fingers crossed she’s an attention hungry starlet that will give Speidi a run for their money – especially if her camera time is threatened!
While ‘The Hills’ crew disingenuous smiles maybe thwarting our attempts to know what they really think of the redeployment is about as welcome as a fart in a telephone box.
And fans agree. Babythugnasty wrote on MTV.com: "I think the next season will definitely be more drama filled, and let's be honest people, isn't that why we glue ourselves to the show in the first place?? ... The truth of the matter is, Kristin C is sure to make the show worth watching if for nothing else than to see a whole hell of a lot more drama ... kudos MTV."
