Miley Cyrus has released the first teaser clip from her ‘We Can’t Stop’ music video, which is set to drop in full this Thursday.

The 20-year-old starlet shared the 8-second teaser on Twitter, which shows her having fun at a pool party joined by a whole cast of extras!

"Miley already had her idea on how she wanted her video to go. A lot of artists have a lot of boundaries to how they record videos; they only want to be doing certain things," producer Mike Will Made It revealed to MTV News.

"But she's young. She's 20. She's fresh, so she's just having fun on set," he continued. "Whatever character she had to be in, and like I said she's an actor too, so whatever she had to be in in whatever shot, she played that character to the T."

Mike Will also went on the explain the inspiration behind the lead single – which will feature on Miley’s upcoming album – revealing that the singer was inspired by a real-life house party she attended.

"When she heard this song, what made her connect to this song is it reminded her of a specific party, a specific party where she was at," he said. "She's saying real stuff. It's all real. So it's not like her trying to force anything or anything like that. It's like speaking from experience. It's like a point-of-view record."
