MTV Australia is excited to announce the launch of two brand new music channels, MTV Dance and MTV Music, which will hit the airwaves around the country this December.

MTV Dance will bring the latest in dance, hip-hop and RnB from around the world, with non-stop dance floor fillers, international charts and live dance performances from the biggest artists like David Guetta, Kanye West and Avicii.

MTV Music will be the home of global music videos and will deliver you with unprecedented access to international artists and iconic MTV moments across the genres of pop, rock, urban and alternative music from Rihanna, Kings of Leon, Jay Z, Rudimental and more.

“You don't think MTV play music? Well that's lies. That's rubbish,” LMFAO’s RedFoo says. “Tune in every day for the latest music, live acts and shows from around the globe. This is a brand new channel, this is MTV music!”

MTV – home of ‘Geordie Shore,’ ‘Beauty School Cop Outs’ and ‘Teen Mom’ – can still be found on Foxtel channel 124, and for Kiwis who are fans of MTV Classic or MTV Hits, don’t fret – NZ tellies will stay the same.

Stay locked to MTV.com.au for more updates and don’t forget: MTV Dance and MTV Music are coming December 3, 2013. Mark your diaries!
