Aussie favourite Pink has just released the music video for her new single ‘Try’ – and the singer admits the moving clip left her mother “speechless”!

"My mom, after seeing the new video ... “Wow, honey. I'm speechless. And uncomfortable. No one can ever say you play it safe." Thanks, mama:)" she tweeted.

The intricately choreographed and physically demanding clip tells the story of a relationship taken to the brink and back. Its aggressive and acrobatic routine is a modern interpretation of Apache Dance, a physical expression of the battle between men and women.

The video co-stars New York dancer Colt Prattes and was directed by Floria Sigismondi and choreographed by the Golden Boyz, who have previously worked with Madonna and Britney Spears.

“Floria, Thanku for your art and creativity and pushing me to go farther than i'd gone. Thanku to everyone involved. Colt, go do some sit ups” Pink tweeted.

According to Digital Spy, the 33-year-old star has previously referred to the piece as her “favourite video ever.”

“Making this video was the most fun I've ever had in my entire career. I never wanted it to end. It's my favourite video ever,” she said.

‘Try’ is the second single taken from Pink’s brand new album ‘The Truth About Love.’ The singer recently paid a visit to Australia with her husband Carey Hart and baby daughter Willow, and will be back in June 2013 for a full tour.

“Thank you Melbourne, Sydney, Australia, the whole damn lot of you. So much love. So yummy. And I'm out.... See you in June!!!!! Xxxxxxxxxx” she tweeted.
