This time Brits has been forced to succumb to the will of some of the more highly strung US radio stations who have insisted that her next single 'If You Seek Amy' from the latest album 'Circus' is inappropriate for the ears of their precious audiences.
Whatever do they mean? Well try saying it fast or better yet, say it fast and in the context of her lyrics "All the boys and all the girls are begging to If You Seek Amy". Ahh! Someone was drinking their clever juice when they came up with that one perhaps the guy who developed French Connection's FCUK campaign has been moonlighting as a song writer?
So with all these radio stations threatening to ban the 'highly offensive' track from the airwaves, what's a girl to do? In the past we've seen many examples of the power of being banned it instantly increases public appeal by about 1000 times (think Madonna's banned 'Like A Prayer' vid).
But Brit's people clearly didn't get the memo and have instead chosen to rerecord the track with the lyrics "If You See Amy". Here's where the Clever Juice must have gone stale - it's amazing how the dropping of a single letter can have the effect of making the whole chorus of this track total nonsense.
Digging deeper into the endless layers of this song we see the Brit's Bisexual Beast come out to play. Since one of the most memorable MTV Awards moments of all time (when Brits and Madge locked lips), along with several rumours of Ms Spears wooing the ladies in her lower-sanity points, it seems that her and her people have come to realise that this is lucrative role to play.
Place your bets now on how long it will be until she treads the path of Li Lo and picks herself a lovely lady friend to parade to the world!
And that's not all from Brit Land not by a long shot! Britney has allegedly signed a $14 million book deal to begin writing as soon as the world tour wraps up; The Britney Spears No Holds Barred Autiobiography! Between Obama's inauguration and this news it's a very special time indeed!
But in all seriousness, it's great to see Britney with her life back in order - she's just as interesting as when her sanity was in question!
