Despite incessant begging from his representation, misguided pop idol Robbie Williams keeps harping on about aliens.

According to news.com.au the singer's latest Martian homage is the ancient Egyptian symbol the 'Eye of Horus' tattooed on the back of his neck. Also known as the Udjat which represents the Cosmos, the mark serves to protect the bearer from evil forces.

It is also used by the US research organisation Enlightened Contact With Extraterrestrial Intelligence (ECTI), who Robbie recently spent time with tracking UFOs.

Fellow alien aficionado Michael C. Luckman believes there are definite links between the Egyptians and intergalactic life-forms, and says Robbie's choice of body adornment is a suggestion he is keen and ready for a personal encounter of the third kind. The director of the New York Center for Extraterrestrial Research, told BANG Showbiz: "By design, Robbie seems to be preparing himself, body, mind and soul, to take the ultimate journey to space in the very near future."

The former Take That member was recently at Trout Lake in Washington where he is trying to film any alien activity and penning songs inspired by little green men.

Sounds like fun, but seriously Robbie, you should stick to songs about Angels - so much more commercially viable!
