In the half hour interview, the trio reflected on their whirlwind rise to stardom with the series, looking back at their first auditions, discussing their favourite scenes and opening up about how they feel now that the saga has come to a close.
“It felt like any other audition. I had no idea what ‘Twilight’ was,” Taylor Lautner said of trialling for the part of Jacob.
“I asked people, I said ‘What is this thing?’ and they said ‘There’s vampires and it’s in a forest.’ That was before I did my research!” Taylor continued.
His co-star Robert Pattinson had a very different experience, revealing that he was “extremely nervous” about taking on the part of Edward Cullen.
“I was extremely nervous! I was, like, crippled by self consciousness when I was doing auditions at the time,” Rob said.
Meanwhile Kristen Stewart has dished on her favourite scene in the much anticipated final film, ‘Breaking Dawn – Part 2’!
“Probably when he takes his clothes off in front of my father!” said Kristen, gesturing to Taylor.
“I still had to take off my shirt [in this film] but at least it wasn’t ridiculous. No, it was ridiculous!” Taylor joked.
‘Breaking Dawn – Part 2’ marks the end of a long journey for the cast, spanning four years and five hit films. So how do they feel now that it’s all coming to close?
“It’s a strange feeling,” Taylor revealed.
“I kinda don’t believe it!”
