Musicians and artists from around the world have come together to pay tribute to Bee Gees star Robin Gibb, following the news of his death after a long battle with cancer.

“It was a real honor to perform with Robin Gibb at the London Proms. May he be remembered well and rest in peace,” singer Sam Sparro tweeted.

Duran Duran’s official Twitter page said, "Sorry to hear about the passing of Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees. Our condolences to his friends and family."

‘Australia’s Got Talent’ judge Dannii Minogue quoted a song written by the star’s brother Barry Gibb, “We start believin’ now that we can be who we are - Grease is the word."

Brian McFadden also sent his condolences, “I hope you’re at peace now,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Irish band The Script revealed their personal memories with the ‘Stayin’ Alive’ hitmaker.

“We met Robin and Barry in NY. Such a lovely guy. Prayers 2 his family. 2 many Legends being taken from us 2 early,” they tweeted.

Robin sold more than 200 million records along with his brother Barry and his late twin Maurice Gibb.

‘Night Fever,’ ‘How Deep Is Your Love’ and ‘Jive Talkin’ are some of their most famous songs.
