Looks like Taylor Swift may have found the inspiration for her next chart-topping hit!
After several month of dating, Taylor and her beau Conor Kennedy have reportedly called it a day.
"They quietly parted ways a while ago," a friend of the singer-songwriter told US Weekly.
"It was just a distance thing. No hard feelings. They're fine," the source continued.
The 22-year-old ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ singer and 18-year-old high school student Conor started dating back in July, but it seems Taylor’s hectic work schedule has caused the pair to drift apart.
"It's been over a month since they've even seen each other," the source revealed.
"With her promotion for Red, she has no time off until the end of the year."
Taylor’s new album ‘Red’ was released this week, achieving record-breaking sales and widespread critical acclaim.
As yet, neither Taylor nor Conor has made any comment about the claims - but going by her past track record, fans are more likely to hear what went down in the relationship via her song lyrics than from Taylor herself.
"I don't talk about my personal life in great detail," she told Glamour magazine recently.
"I write about it in my songs, and I feel like you can share enough about your life in your music to let people know what you're going through."
