Country cutie Taylor Swift is renowned for pouring her heart out through her music, and now the singer has spilled her thoughts on love in a brand new interview!
Taylor, who features on the cover of Rolling Stone’s annual ‘Hot List’ issue, told the mag that when she falls in love she “falls hard.”
"The way I look at love is you have to follow it, and fall hard, if you fall hard. You have to forget about what everyone else thinks. It has to be an us-against-the-world mentality,” Taylor revealed.
“You have to make it work by prioritizing it, and by falling in love really fast, without thinking too hard. If I think too hard about a relationship I'll talk myself out of it.”
“I have rules for a lot of areas of my life. Love is not going to be one of them," she continued.
22-year-old Taylor has been linked to a string of Hollywood hunks in the past including Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, Jake Gyllenhaal and John Mayer, but she’s currently dating 18-year-old Conor Kennedy.
And apparently, Taylor’s good friend Selena Gomez could be the one responsible for her taking a liking to her younger beau!
According to Perez Hilton, when Taylor is asked in the interview whether 20-year-old Selena’s relationship with 18-year-old pop superstar Justin Bieber influenced her decision to date a younger man, she replied,
“Probably!”
Swift is set to release her brand new album ‘Red’ later this month and will head to Frankfurt, Germany in November to perform at the ‘2012 MTV EMA,’ where she’s up for five awards.
