They’re currently here on Aussie soil to play a handful of intimate shows, but Irish rockers The Script have just announced they’ll be heading back in 2013 for a full-blown national tour!

Playing arenas in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in April next year, the band will showcase tracks from their brand new album ‘#3’ as well as all the classic, sweeping anthems that have become so synonymous with their name.

Yesterday, MTV Australia caught up with band mates Danny O’Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power to find out why they just can’t get enough of Aussie crowds.

“We came back because of the love in the past that was here for us” said Mark.

“You never know what to expect with new records coming out. All you want to do is put it out and to see people respond to it, and so far, Australia has been responding to it really well!”

Tickets are on sale from 9am on Thursday, October 4 through Frontier Touring.
