The 'Twilight' cast really got something to sink their fangs into after bagging a MAMMOTH five Golden Popcorn Awards at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards.

The movie and its torrid tale of vampire/human love has taken the world by storm – and here was the proof!

Swoon-inducing leading man Robert Pattison, who plays sometime blood-sucker Edward Cullen, took his first of many trips to the stage to accept the gong for Best Fight.

On winning the Golden Popcorn for his on-screen spat against co-star Cam Gigandet, the humble Brit chuckled: "It made me feel really tough. Really hard. I don't think I've ever won a fight in my life. It was cool."

After that, he was up and down more than fashionista Bruno on a dodgy suspension wire. He collected the Breakthrough Performance Male for… you guessed it, his turn as Edward in the garlic-baiting flick.

Then it was co-star and rumoured real-life girlf Kristen Stewart’s turn to take to the stage – and R-Patz clapped till his manly hands hurt as she picked up the gong for Best Female Performance.

As if the sexy pair hadn’t got enough shiny doorstops by now – sorry, additions to their glass trophy cabinets – it was then announced that they’d taken the BIG one. Yes, 'Twilight' also bagged the Best Movie trophe. Fang-you very much, the cast, director and writer seemed to be saying as they hugged in celebration.

The 'High School Musical' lot would have been crying into their gym kits if it hadn’t have been for Zac Efron – Best Male Performance winner – and Ashley Tisdale – Breakthrough Performance Female - flying the flag.
