The punk pocket rocket looked like the cat who got the Whiskers box set after beating rock gods Kings Of Leon, The Killers, Kaiser Chiefs and Paramore to the coveted Moon Man.
It hasn't been a bad 12 months for the Illinois outfit. They've just wrapped up a sell-out tour, performed explosive lives shows from coast to coast (while dodging undies from adoring fans) and bagged another mega-selling hit with their fifth album Folie a Deux.
Add to that the arrival of Pete and missus Ashlee Simpson's little bundle of joy, Bronx Mowgli Wentz, last year, and it's no wonder the host with the most's grin almost cracked his face. And we're sure the congradulatory pash from wifey helped as well...
