Noah Cyrus Tried To Sell Her Tears For $12,000 As A Joke & Now It's Led To A Scam
That headline alone was a lot to process.
ICYMI, Noah Cyrus dropped her debut EP, Good Cry, this week and along with it dropped a whole heap of merch.
But only one piece from the collection is getting serious attention - a vial claiming to contain Cyrus' tears, specifically following her break-up with Lil Xan, being sold for a very cool $12,000.
Well, according to TMZ, it was all just a big joke.
In any case, the joke bottle of tears (???) has now led to one greedy sucker trying to scam Cyrus' fans out of money.
User Sad Cyren started a now-deleted campaign to garner enough money to buy the tears - which were only available for 48 hours.
“I LOVE NOAH CYRUS SO MUCH I NEED A BOTTLE OF HER TEARS BUT IT’s $12,000!!!!!!!!!!!!” the description read. “PLEASE HELP ME MAKE MY DREAM COME TRUE AND GET ME TO MY GOAL!!!!!!!!!! IT SAYS ON THE PIZZASLIME STORE THAT IT’S ONLY AVAILABLE FOR 48 HOURS SO PLEASE SHARE THIS SO I CAN GET TO THE GOAL AS FAST AS POSSIBLE!!!!!”
According to Stereogum, Cyrus and her team shut down the campaign and plan to reimburse the $1,240 USD that was donated to the campaign.
The simulation is real, fam.
