Team USA Admits Ryan Lochte & Teammates Lied, Apologises To Rio Officials
It seems like this Olympics has been another episode of Geordie Shore as drama continues left, right and centre.
Ryan Lochte is the American swimmer who stated to the public and police that him and his three other team mates had been robbed at gunpoint.
However it didn't take long after the multiple fibs and days of confusion, that the USA swimmers got the Taylor Swift treatment after a recording revealed the truth.
A video at the gas station reveals Ryan Lochte, James Feigen, Jack Conger and Gunnar Bentz all at the Gas Station. The athletes stopped at the station where one of them used the rest room and vandalised it in the process. As a result the security guards revealed their weapons and ordered the athletes pay for the damage and then they would be allowed to leave.
Their embarassing behavior left Lochte in the spotlight and Team USA causing the United States Olympic Committee to release a formal apology on behalf of their athletes.
"On behalf of the United States Olympic Committee, we apologize to our hosts in Rio and the people of Brazil for this distracting ordeal in the midst of what should rightly be a celebration of excellence."
They continue to show these athletes wont go unpunished stating, "The behavior of these athletes is not acceptable, nor does it represent the values of Team USA or the conduct of the vast majority of its members. We will further review the matter, and any potential consequences for the athletes, when we return to the United States."
