One Direction Make Their VMA Debut!

The Boys Perform ‘One Thing’ And Nab Themselves Two Moonmen!

Brit heartthrobs One Direction have just taken to the stage for their '2012 MTV Video Music Awards' performance debut!

Looking polished in colour co-ordinated blue and white outfits, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan rose up from under the stage to belt out their smash hit track ‘One Thing.’

The boys bounced around as they belted out the track, grabbing fans’ hands and playing up to the many cameras beaming them out to audiences around the world.

Even pop princess Katy Perry couldn’t resist singing along, as she mouthed the lyrics at pal Rihanna who was seated beside her throughout the show.

And while it may be their first time ever attending the MTV VMAs, the boys are already making their mark, having picked up two Moonmen so far!

The ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ singers picked up awards for ‘Most Share Worthy Video’ as well as ‘Best Pop Video.’

“Wow,” Niall Horan told the audience as 1D accepted the gong for ‘Best Pop Video.’

“Thank you so much, to even be here is an honour. It’s absolutely incredible.”

“The most important people are our fans. You helped us win this award, so thank you. We love you!”

The '2012 MTV Video Music Awards' are live on MTV right now and will be repeated throughout the day! Keep up with the latest news on Facebook, Twitter and at mtv.com.au/vma
