Ozzy’s New Documentary
Think you know Ozzy? Think again! Jack Osbourne is about to unveil an intimate documentary on his legendary father, which will portray the Black Sabbath singer like we’ve never seen before – i.e a genius!
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Jack said,
“I’m trying to paint a realistic picture of who my father is. I think The Osbourne’s to a degree, tarnished the public’s perception of my dad as a bit of a senile, funny, bumbling guy.’
The ‘Adrenaline Junkie’ went on to add,
“Yeah my dad can be that guy, but it’s not him. I think that almost discredited who he is as an artist. My dad’s not an idiot – he’s nothing short of a genius, in my opinion. He does have huge flaws, and we’re trying to really paint an honest picture of that.”
The original title for the feature was going to be ‘Wreckage Of My Past’ but has been changed to ‘God Bless Ozzy Osbourne.’
The much-anticipated documentary looks into the meteoric ups and tragic downs of rock legend’s life 62-year life, and has never-seen footage with Paul McCartney, Tommy Lee and other artists.
It’s the first documentary to take viewers inside the mind of the rock icon. The ‘Black Sabbath’ front man has said that he hopes the film would include footage of him ‘in a bad mood’ so that fans could see his real personality,
“I said ‘Jack it can’t be how wonderful I am all the time because I’m not that way all the time. I’m human you know’ I’m hoping he’s put a bit of sweet and sour in there.”
According to Variety, Jack’s company ‘Jacko Productions’ filmed several of his father’s concerts and was even hoping to get an interview with Ozzy’s first wife.
The new release is expected to come soon. – we can’t wait boys!
