Ozzy's "Sudden Illness"
Sure, he may not be the poster boy for clean living, but Ozzy Osbourne gives the impression of being tougher than an old boot. So when the ageing rocker cancelled a show due to “sudden illness”, fans were worried.
A post on his official website read:
“Based on advice from doctors, it is with great regret that Ozzy Osbourne is postponing his show this Sunday, January 30, 2011 at the Reno Event Center.”
But thankfully, a full nights rest was enough to subdue whatever's ailing the invincible 62-year-old Prince Of Darkness! A new message on his twitter said that the singer is "feeling much better today" and added that tonight’s gig at the Gibson Amphitheatre is happening.
Meanwhile, the singer has announced plans to publish a new book called ‘Ask Dr. Ozzy’ – based on his regular column with the Sunday Times, in which he offers, ironically enough, medical advice.
According to the publisher, the book will "tell incredible survival stories not found in his memoir, offer advice that no human should follow, and shed light on his seemingly superhuman ability to keep breathing."
The book is due to be released in October 2011. Stay well Ozzy!
