Porsche Responds To Paul Walker's Daughter Meadow Suing Over Her Dad's Crash
Porsche has responded to Meadow Walker's Lawsuit.
The Statement reads: "As we have said before, we are saddened whenever anyone is hurt in a Porsche vehicle, but we believe the authorities' reports in this case clearly established that this tragic crash resulted from reckless driving and excessive speed."
Paul Walker's daughter, Meadow, has begun legal proceedings against Porsche, the manufacturer of the car that her dad was killed in after a high speed accident back in November 2013.
According to US reports, a wrongful death case has been filed by the 16-year-old, claiming that aspects such as the safety belts and stabilisation system resulted in the outcome of the crash, which also killed the driver Roger Rodas.
Meadow's claims maintain that the make of Porsche that they were in had "a history of instability and control issues."
"It is with great reluctance that Meadow Walker has authorized the filing of this lawsuit on her own behalf and as heir to Paul Walker’s estate," Meadow's lawyer Jeff Milam said in a statement. "She’s a teenage girl who is still dealing with the tragic loss of her father."
Porsche has yet to release a public statement regarding the claims.
Reflecting on my father, I found myself reflecting on his passions. His passion for the ocean, his passion for rescuing animals, his passion for helping people and his passion for spontaneous goodwill. I wanted to start this foundation because I want to share that piece of him with the world. I want to share that part of him with others. I am tremendously proud to be launching The #PaulWalkerFoundation (@paulwalkerfdn) on his birthday. I can't think of a better way to celebrate my father. #DoGood
