Pete Davidson Breaks His Silence On Split From Ariana Grande
Since then, Ariana has told her fans she's taking a much-needed break from the Internet, while Pete is doing what Pete does best - using humour to deal with the split.
Just a few days after cancelling a comedy gig, the 24-year-old made his first public appearance alongside Judd Apatow at the Judd & Pete For America benefit show.
While Pete didn't mention Ariana's name, it was pretty clear what his 45-minute set was about.
“As you could tell, I don’t want to be here...There’s a lot going on,” he added, before joking, “Does anybody have any open rooms? Looking for a roommate?”
“What else is going on? Um, I’ve been covering a bunch of tattoos, that’s fun. I’m f*cking zero for two in the tattoo [department],” he said, referencing the fact that along with his many Ariana-inspired tattoos, Pete recently covered up a tat of his ex-girlfriend Cazzie David's face on his arm.
“Yeah, I’m afraid to get my mom tattooed on me, that’s how bad it is,” he added.
The Beauty Evolution of Ariana Grande
Following his set, Pete was joined by Judd on stage, when he said: “So, obviously you know I, we [Ariana] broke up or whatever, but when me and her first got engaged we got tattoos..."
“And it was like in a magazine like, was Pete Davidson stupid? And 93 percent of it said yes. So my boy, he was like, ‘Don’t listen to that sh*t man. They’re literally f*cking haters.’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah f*ck that. I’m not stupid.’ And the other day we were in my kitchen and he was like, ‘Yo bro. Turns out you were stupid.’"
You know what they say...laughter is the best medicine. We're thinking of you buddy.
