Pink is forced to postpone three shows in Canada after getting sick
Pink has been forced to postpone three shows on the Canadian section of her ‘Truth About Love’ tour after suffering from inflamed vocal cords and laryngitis.
The shows in Edmonton, Saskatoon and Winnipeg will now take place between January 14-16 2014.
This is in addition to the Salt Lake City and Denver USA shows that were rescheduled last week for later this month after the singer was placed on vocal rest.
A statement from tour promoter Live Nation was released earlier this week, saying: “It became clear after further consultation with her doctors today that more rest is required for her to fully recover from inflamed vocal cords and laryngitis.”
Despite being sick, the 34-year-old ‘So What’ singer still has her sense of humour, taking to Twitter after the original postponements to thank her fans for their support.
Thanks for all the support y'all. Not very dramatic- doctor just wants me on complete vocal rest for four days to heal. So I can kick ass.
Both shows rescheduled and very quickly. Touring would be terribly easy if I lip synced. See you soon xo
