Powderfinger Tell All!
For the last two decades, Powderfinger have been one of the country's best selling, and most loved, rock acts. But what was it really like being part of the iconic Aussie band?
Well, fans may soon have that answer - the notoriously private Brisbane rockers are going to lift the lid on their 20 year career by writing a book, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
Their first-ever authorised biography, entitled ‘Footprints,’ is being written by journalist Dion Scantena and is due out in November.
Dion said: "They are genuinely five of the sweetest, humblest and funniest guys you'll meet in rock'n'roll,"
"That won't come as a shock to anyone who knows anything about Powderfinger.
"What will surprise is the story these very private men finally share here about their extraordinary 20 years together."
‘Footprints’ will include never before seen photos, and follow the band’s ascent from high school buddies to ARIA winning rock royalty.
Powderfinger retired last year, with more than 30,000 fans turning out to see their ‘Sunsets’ tour.
