Ricky Martin has officially taken his place in the big red chair as the newest judge on ‘The Voice Australia,’ and from the sounds of it he’s having the time of his life Down Under!
The Latin sensation took over Keith Urban’s judging post on ‘The Voice’ to join original panel members Joel Madden, Delta Goodrem and Seal on the popular singing competition show.
Having been through the first round of blind auditions a couple of weeks back, Ricky tweeted what he thought of our home-grown talent.
“I'm really inspiered by OZ's talent. It's been an amazing 2 days. @TheVoiceAU Rocks! #TeamRicky #Australia,” tweeted the star.
“Awesome to work w u guys! Amazing vibe! @delta_goodrem @JoelMadden @Seal,” he added about his experience with his fellow judges last week.
A few days later, the ‘She Bangs’ singer further teased avid followers by posting a link to a YouTube clip of a blind auditions sneak peek, giving fans an emotionally-charged inside look into what we can expect from season two!
According to the Huffington Post, ‘The Voice Australia’ is one of many new projects the star will take on this year, including another TV series and the opportunity to write and publish a children’s book.
“It's a moment in my life where I just need to absorb and be surrounded by amazing actors and musicians and grow as an entertainer,” he revealed.
“I think this is going to be an amazing year for that.”
