You'll Never Believe Which Riverdale Hottie Has Never Had A Girlfriend
There's a very simple solution to this problem.
Even though his character in Riverdale has been involved in a pretty confusing love-triangle with Betty Cooper and Veronica Lodge, actor KJ Apa has revealed that he doesn't have much luck with the ladies IRL.
Opening up about his eternal singledom, KJ went into detail about why being in a relationship probably isn't the right thing to do rn, considering he's way too busy with his TV career to give romance a second thought.
In an interview with Seventeen, the real life Archie Andrews opened up about the one time he asked out a random girl he bumped into on the street. Which, once again, proves that there is literally hope for us all out there.
"I was with my best friend and he was like, 'Bro, look at that girl,' and I looked over and she stopped me in my tracks," he began. "Halfway home I’m like, 'Should I do it?'" He turned back and went for it. "I said hi, introduced myself."
"I was talking to her for about 15 minutes and I asked if we could grab a coffee or something." He managed to get her number, and after a week of texting, the pair went on two dates. "It was really cool, really sick, had a great time," he says. "But didn't really feel it."
Moving onto the love-life of his actual character, KJ announced that he's firmly team Varchie. "I think after that first season of him bouncing from girl to girl, it's nice to see him in a proper, stable relationship. It’s good for Archie."
IRL, he's still playing it cool when it comes to the dating scene, revealing: "I think I'm just waiting for the right time, right girl. I'm pretty busy at the moment. I don't know how much I have to offer to someone right now."
We'd just like to throw our hat in the ring for taking on the position of KJ's girlfriend; but we have a sneaky feeling there are about a thousand girls ahead of us in the queue.
