The multi-talented gang, led by rock God Dave Grohl, will take to the stage at the star-studded music bash - kicking off on Monday June 6 @ 4pm (AEST).

In their first appearance at The MTV Movie Awards since 2005, the five-piece are set to wow the crowd with their new single 'Walk' from their highly raved about latest release, 'Wasting Light.'

The Grammy-Award winners will also be joined on the night by previously announced performers Lupe Fiasco and Trey Songz, who will hook-up for their first ever TV rendition of their duet 'Out Of My Head.'



And following their hot new collab, Lupe will then be belting out his platinum Kane Beatz- produced single 'The Show Goes On.'

Hosted by the hilarious Jason Sudeikis, the 20th annual 'MTV Movie Awards' will be broadcast from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California on MTV Australia Monday June 6 @ 4pm (AEST).

According to Hollywood Life.com, the foursome hit ArcLight Cinema in Sherman Oaks, California, for the midnight showing of 'Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides.'

And sources say the gang had a blast!

"Everyone in the theater couldn't believe they were all here together," an onlooker told Hollywood Life.com. "It was so surreal, and a little random. They were all jumping up and down around each other like kids."

Selena and Demi have been BFFs for years, and Biebs and Chris recently developed a new brotherly love after uniting on stage in Australia!

But rather than hit the golf course or swan off on a fancy vacation, the chart-topping band, who are currently in the middle of their European tour, have some super exciting solo plans up their sleeve.

Spilling deets about will.i.am's upcoming release, frontwoman Fergie told Hollywoodscoop,

"I believe Will is coming out with a solo album, I've heard it, it's called Black Einstein, and it's amazing. I've been waiting for him to come out with this for so long, 'cause I want it. He won't give it to me. I want it for the gym. He's so amazing. Such a genius lyricist and I'm really excited for his project."

And as for the sexy songstress herself - she's plotting to spend more "personal time" with her hubby Josh Duhamel.

"We're taking a break ... getting more of that personal time," she said.

"Josh and I have gotten to spend a lot more time together this year than other years, which is great."

And when quizzed about whether a baby was on the agenda, the pop princess added,

"Oh yeah, of course. Not right this second. Not pregnant, for the record. But, yeah."

In a statement on the band's official website, members Daniel Johns, Chris Joannou and Ben Gillies announced that they are going into "indefinite hibernation" as a result of struggling to gel musically and find inspiration.

"We formed Silverchair nearly 20 years ago when we were just 12 years old," the statement reads. "Today we stand by the same rules now as we did back then ... if the band stops being fun and if it's no longer fulfilling creatively, then we need to stop".

"Therefore after much soul searching we wanted to let you know that we're putting Silverchair into "indefinite hibernation" and we've decided to each do our own thing for the foreseeable future".

The band also revealed it's something that's been a long time coming: "We assure you that this decision has not been taken lightly. In fact we've been struggling with it for quite a while now," they write.

But don't go crying into your memorabilia just yet, Silverchair fans - the statement also said that all three members are embarking on various musical projects.

"At the moment Ben's busy in the studio recording his own music, Chris is working on various business, musical and charitable ventures while Daniel is creating a film soundtrack and working on other musical projects. We hope you'll continue to take an interest in our individual work over the years ahead".

"The unbelievable loyalty we've been shown by you our audience, and our friends, has never gone unnoticed or unappreciated. That's why we wanted to tell you first".

And now, with a dramatic change in line-up, the Brit rockers are back and busy working on a follow-up to 2008's 'Slipway Fires.'

Well, uber talented frontman Johnny Borrell, the only remaining original member of the indie faves, told radio station XFM,

"We're really gelling as a band and a group of people and we're really enjoying working together."

And speaking about their upcoming fourth record, the singer, who's been busy laying tracks in the studio with new guitarist Gus Robertson, bassist Freddie Stitz and drummer David Sullivan Kaplan, added,

"It feels great, really, really good. There are some songs coming together."

But the 'In The Morning' star kept tight-lipped on when exactly fans can expect the album to drop.

"It'll be ready when it's ready," said Johnny.

Barely able to contain her excitement, the 30-year-old TV stunner told People of his romantic proposal, "I didn't expect this at all.

"I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now."

And with the idea of marriage quickly sinking in - the curvy brunette is already looking ahead to her big day.

And when we say big, we mean HUGE!

According to OK Magazine, Kim, who was previously married to music producer Damon Thomas, is reportedly keen to upstage Prince William and Kate Middleton's recent royal nuptials!

A source told OK, "Kim is planning the wedding of the century. She doesn't see why a royal wedding should get more attention than hers. She sees herself as a bigger celebrity than Kate Middleton."

And with the reality gal plotting to tie the knot as early as this year, it sounds like a baby is next on the cards!

Sources told TMZ that the co-stars fought briefly before it was "quickly broken up" - but not before Ron let off some steam by punching a wall and "tearing up his knuckles."

But the good news is, after a quick trip to the hospital to bandage up his hand, the bromance is back on track!

TMZ claim the feisty pair have "worked out their issues" after a long talk following the incident.

Meanwhile, the cast have also been busy putting their GTL routines on hold to slog out a few hours hard work at traditional Italian eatery Pizzeria O'Vesuvio.
